early childhood music classes and piano lessons
At Keys to Music Studio we take a holistic approach to music and students, where we value the process as well as the end product. We learn by doing, we encourage creative expression and self generation of music. We expose students to a wide variety of genres of music, so they can find which style speaks to them. The Piano Program is designed for students from age 6 to adult, while the Early Childhood Music Program starts at 2 months old. It is valuable to note that songs heard in early childhood classes reappear in the piano program. This combination is not offered in many, if any, other childhood music programs. We take joy in learning and watching our students explore, grow and be inspired by music.

early childhood music classes benefit children in all aspects of their development
All students are exposed to beat, rhythm, singing, movement and instruments developmentally appropriate for their age. We use Orff instruments because they are easier for children to play and they are always in tune. They have a joyful experience before moving on to more advanced instruments, like the piano. They learn musical concepts, vocabulary and how to respect the instruments, as well as the rules associated with them.

Children and Adults are taught using the Simply Music Piano Program. This program exposes students to all genres of music, the music is high quality and sounding great from the very beginning. It is a playing based approach, which allows students to learn the way we learned language- by doing and experimenting. We did not learn to read before we learned how to talk.
